From another message:"4th Ave (Man.)-Grand Central, Grand St Crosstown, 8th St Crosstown, and 14 St Crosstown. All were gone by 1932. Another earlier line, the Brooklyn and North River (Canal St Crosstown) ended service on 10/04/1919. None of these lines would have needed that mystery space."
