When I used to do day trips on weekdays, I always took what was then the first 'non peak' train in the morning to get the ODRT fare, and we woulD almost always meet a train of those coming in from Newark right at the tunnel. I always thought they looked so antiquated then - especially in the summer when they had both end doors open, and you could see the engineer plain as day! |
