Someone must have told them the ceremonial train of SMEEs would not be able to run if the doors were in place opening day :).On a serious note, when it opens the line will be mixed R188 - R62A, so half the fleet wouldn't line up properly. The 7 is probably the only line that could get PSD cheaply. Grand Central doesn't have columns in the way, so that leaves only five underground stops to find creative solutions for. |
