Regardless of what vehicles it utilized, using Cranberry for Lower Manhattan access would've resulted in relocation of the C to a new Fulton local/Rutgers connector.As for the connection to Montague, it doesn't have to be made south of Borough hall. There's no reason it couldn't be connected to Montague even north of Court st BMT, opening up the NYTM as a stop once again. It could pass over/under the IRT at any point. |
