On the other hand, my experiences with this involve riding 2058 on a summer Friday (which has a Greenport connection).No, most of the passengers were not drunk or a physical disturbance. No, there were no pets. Yes, the train was insanely crowded. (I don't think I've seen worse on the LIRR except in service disruptions) Yes, most passengers had luggage. Yes, the passengers were very loud and boisterous. Given that the scoot connection is only 2 cars and much more than 25% of the passengers I saw on this 12 car train seemed to be going to Greenport (luggage), I wonder what that scoot looked like. |
