How SRS 140, build from an R-33 carbody shell, was not kept here and used in the NYCT system is way beyond me!!! :-/

When Sperry acquired the carbody to make #140, some adtionas would have caused clearance problems, especially the roof.


SRS #140 did make rounds on the LIRR.
