I've done a good bit of brazing copper pipe, but I've never done any soldering. Brazing is cool and all, but I just hated it when I would mess up a joint and then turn the water on. Ugh. With the advent of some of these easy to use PVC fittings, brazing is becoming a lost art.I do like to check the joints that the fitters do on the larger black iron pipe. Nothing like true welded joints. |
