Don't we always?????? :-DI mean..... With the exception of certain work/yard assigned locomotives (namely the Brokevilles), MNR locos perform better (Gennies haven't been top star performers, but they sure do better than LIRR's Lemons!!), our EMUs of similar age (M-7As) look in way better shape, our M-3As look in phenomenal shape as opposed to LIRR M-3s (probably run better too), our stations look way nicer, we bounce back from system outages quite possibly THE BEST and fastest in the whole MTA system, and passengers who ride both the LIRR and MNR will say upfront the quality of service and the quality of MNR crews FAR EXCEEDS the LIRR!! (People do talk, ya' know!!), and now on top of all that, MNR is #1, top dog in the country, in ridership!! :-) |
