Having rode the Babylon line from 1981 to 1990 and the Harlem after that, it is like night and day comparing LIRR to MNRR. AND MNRR took on much older infrastructure, filthy FL9's, filthy roach infested coaches when they took over the RR from Conrail who let it rot. |
