That wipes out yet another Beaux-Arts building in the same vicinity.If Farley was to be demolished for a new MSG, the first thing to do is to remove the granite facade and reuse it for building of a new Penn on the site of the old Penn. Of course the wording about mail carriers delivering the mail through rain, snow etc, would have to be removed somehow. Face it, Penn Sta. will always be a glorified subway station. Bill Newkirk/b> |
