I went to the circus there and also went to two Rangers home games in the 1966-67 season (the last full season it was open). We got tickets for $2.00 each! I remember riding Arnines on the E from Roosevelt Ave. to get there (to keep this on topic). The ventilation was so bad you could see a big cloud of smoke hanging over the ice by the third period (smoking was allowed in those days). |
