Speaking of Roosevelt Re: Interesting Find

Here are some of the photos from the abandoned Roosevelt upper level station. Unlike the other IND provision stations, this one was actually tiled....but like South 4th St and Utica/Fulton, it was never used. It was for the Winfield spur, which was to be a branch off the South 4th St line (replacement line for the Broadway El).





Here's a link to Joe's other photos. They unfortunately aren't the clearest, but they are the only photos I know of of the Roosevelt station:
