My first NH ride from GCT to New Rochelle in 1964 was an eye opener. There was a broken window in the door on the platform side. next to the crack and hole was a printed sticker headlinedVandalism broke this window but the NYNH&H has no funds to repair it. At the timec a regular IC Electric rider I was appalled at the condition of the cars. |
