If a shuttle bus service is run in place of the trains, the crews are assigned to ride the buses doing fare collections, much as like when we "bustituted" the New Canaan, Danbury and Waterbury Branches.

Between GCT and South Norwalk, though there will be some schedule changes as certain trains' runs will have been changed, it will be business as usual.
