Posted by Henry R32 #3730 on Sat May 18 16:36:02 2013 I realize the typical practice has been to simply suspend service, but is there any chance they might run some additional ALB-BOS service to try and connect NYC to Springfield and Boston, if this is a prolonged outage?The alternatives (bus) are going to be maxed out for the duration of the outage, offering a rail route (even if it takes 3 extra hours) may be desirable. Especially since there might be a few extra hours of traffic on I95 depending on time of day anyway. |
