Perhaps then only an express run from farther out points have a shot. At that point, perhaps its best to just leave ABE area to Amtrak with the hopes of a shorter route between Harrisburg and NYP. Still, I wonder how long it would take the train to run from Pburg to NYP with only a couple of stops along the way. With track upgrades, which would be the fastest routing? Via RVL, Dover? Or what about the abandoned line through Long Valley, or the routing that passes just north of Flemington? |
