Cheaper the way NJT does things? Heh. They want to build a flyover for that, according to the last plans—look towards the center of the map below. (This is the $100M-per-mile surface electric LRT agency, remember.)And for all that effort, it would have been cheaper by far to keep the CNJ main line as it was and just build a PATH extension to CRRNJ Terminal, ultimately. Sending the RVL to Hoboken on a permanent basis is just a reversal of one part of the Aldene Plan. |
