Hunterdon County Parks Dept had a van tour last Sunday of northern Hunterdon passenger stations. I went on it.

Glen Gardner, which is a wide spot on the road today, used to be a resort area. People went there by train and stayed in a hotel for a week. A CNJ President used to live there. The station is gone. The site is in accessible and privately owned. We could not get in.

In Hampton, some of the ballast is washed out and the track suspended in mid-air. The Route 31 overpass is being replaced.

The High Bridge Branch is a walking trail. Hard to believe it was thriving in the early 1970's with 20 freights a day. Thanks to Vietnam, bombs were made in High Bridge and transported to an arsenal in Morris County.

LV station in Bloomsbury is still there, now a local business. Might be a good place to take picture of NS's passengers excursion in late August. CNJ station is gone. Part of the CNJ west of I-78 is still in service.
