There's always the Washington Secondary option. Washington has a population which exceeds that of Hampton, Bloomsbury and Glen Gardner combined. There would be no shared trackage issues (if running to Hoboken) and a peak service train could make up time by running nonstop along the Boonton line. (kind of like a West Jersey version of the Port Jervis thru express) |
