I remember riding the Fulton St el between Greenwood Av (111 St) and Rockaway Av in the 1940's, and transferring to the A train at that point. I remember the S curve on Euclid Av which mimiced the S curve on Crescent St on the Jamaica BMT. I also remember riding the Lexington Av el between Eastern Parkway and downtown Brooklyn in 1947. It had only 2 cars. I also remember riding the 3rd Av el as far south as Fulton St in 1946. |
