You know how many politicians tend to refer of decreases in the rate of growth of spending as "cuts?" The same principle applies here. It's an increase of an expected increase."The tentative deal between Governor Andrew Cuomo and Albany lawmakers would, if approved, increase MTA funding by $358 million, or $40 million more than the MTA expected." |
