I remember being a little kid in the late 70's early 80's when Massapequa Park had yet to be elevated. We'd always get stuck at the grade crossing on Sunrise Hwy. Just that one station. Massapequa was elevated and so was Amityville.Wonder why they waited so long to elevate Massapequa Park? |
