As I posted on Buschat: I believe it to be the replacement for the "$4.50" card which some doctors gave out to Medicaid recipients as reimbursement for their trip to the doctor. A friend got one from his doctor. Used it and gave the empty to me. Now, that's a friend! His original non insurance status was changed to a health insurance associated with Medicaid. Its the income thing. He gets the card. In my office we are required to give them out also, but there are stipulations so not all doctors participate. jrc |
