The Yankees will still draw 3 million because people want to see Jeter, Cano and especially Rivera. They just won't draw 4 million. Citi Field only has 42,000 seats, so even if the Mets sell out every single one of the 81 homes games, they will only draw 3.2 million - and they will not be selling out all of their home games. The Mets have gone down in attendance every year since Citi Field opened in 2009. I don't think they will break 2 million this year. |
