Also considering the development in Queens, a line along the Worlds Fair ROW would have served the residents in the area and possible with the addition of an intermediate station or two spurred additional real estate development in the area.

In theory, it sounds like a good idea, but in practice, it ends up being a long diversionary route that it may end up being faster for most of those residents to take the bus directly to 71st Street on the Queens Railway or the Q88 to Woodhaven Blvd than to ride on a line that would take them back down to Union Turnpike and then return north.
