After you agree to the transfer, the MVM will eject the old card. Once you remove it, the machine will dispense a new one with your old balance on it. You don't have to complete a monetary transaction to do this, by the way. You can trade in your soon-to-expire card at an MVM or MEM without adding anything to it. If you do want to refill it, you'll have to start over at the beginning and insert the new card when prompted. |
