Above the entrance on the northwest corner of Roosevelt & 111th is what looks like an original 1928 "TO MANHATTAN AND FLUSHING" sign.Above the stairway to the Flushing-bound Hunters Point Avenue platform is a mosaic reading "TO ASTORIA & CORONA". The font and style looks as if it's an original from 1917- or it's a recreation done in the recent station rehab. |
