I haven't been there in a while, but East Broadway probably hasn't changed much. All the stations along the F from Bway-Lafayette to Jay St had fluorescent lighting at the platform level in the '70s, and IIRC E Bway, 2nd Ave, and York St haven't had major rehabs, aside from losing the remaining incandescent lights and sign changes.

E Bway still has all it's staircases, including the long abandoned ones. Some of the abandoned areas and niches have been further closed off in the mezzanine area.

I think 2nd Ave lost some of its abandoned staircases since then.

I didn't mention Delancey St because a lot has changed. New tiles (roughly the same color though), demolition of almost all the abandoned staircases, and rearrangement of the staircases leading to the M, J, and Z.

1st and 3rd Aves on the L hasn't changed much. Especially 1st Ave: except for some extra wiring, it's almost exactly like I remember from high school in the '70's and '80's.

Bowery on the J/Z may not have changed much, aside from having one whole side closed off. Unlike Canal St., it hasn't been rehabbed.
