I myself have NEVER had any issue shooting video or photographing anywhere I went. If an officer asks a question, what harm is it to cooperate?? Almost 10 out of 10, the officer will leave you alone and leave you to be as you were. I have been stopped and asked before, and yes I explain to them, and while never been asked to show what I have on my camera, I have done so on my own without anyone asking. If I am doing nothing wrong, what do I have to be combative about?? And in each instance, I have been left alone, with a Q&A from the officer(s) lasting no more than 2 minutes, 3 tops. And contrary to what has been thought, I rarely, if not ever, carry my work ID on me when I am off duty. |
