And this woman was simply sitting on a bench accorfding to what I've read. I don't see what he could have done to prevent this.This nut was pacing back and forth and talking to herself. Big difference if she was on a cellphone or just ranting. That alone should make any New Yorker move down the platform. I can see barriers on outdoor platforms failing in snow and freezing rain and let's not forget vandals who will find a way to jam something in the door track to prevent it from opening.
