Most of the trains that terminated at 145 St terminated on the S/B track 1 so most of the time you could remain on the train and go back. During the rush, trains that would lay up in 148 St Yd would usually terminate on tk 4 which would require you to exit the high wheel and cross over the street to the S/B side. You weren't left outside of a fare control as such but there was no way to enter the N/B platform at 145 just as there is no entrance facility at 238/Bway. |
