I haven't ridden:The Sunset Limited (at all) The Heartland Flyer (at all) The Texas Eagle (St. Louis to San Antonio) The Pennsylvanian (Harrisburg to Pittsburgh) The Vermonter (Waterbury to St. Albans) The Lake Shore Limited (Albany to Boston) The Northeast Regional (Richmond to Norfolk) The Cascades (Everett to Vancouver, BC) The Downeaster (Portland to Brunswick) The Missouri River Runner (at all) The Michigan services (at all) The Illinois services (Galesburg to Quincy) The San Joaquin (Sacramento to Stockton and Hanford to Bakersfield) The Ethan Allen Express on the Rutland branch line. Any miles through Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas that aren't covered by the Auto Train, the Crescent, and Tri-Rail. Obviously, those with the advantage of age will be able to name many routes long discontinued. My discontinued mileage list is extraordinarily small, and the biggest route on it is (potentially) slated to reopen next spring anyway. |
