In my years of fanning the subways, I managed to visit all of the revenue routes and branches at least once [except the fallen branches 3rd Av Bronx, Culver Shuttle, Myrtle Ave-they went down before '76 when I turned 18 and became an adult. I was a kid living in Queens from '68 to '70 when all of these lines were operating but like most kids, I was confined to my block.].Of all of the subway routes, the least used by me were the G, L, and M[Myrtle Ave portion]. I remember going to Lenox Terminal [3] once, and I took the A to 207th St when the Bx12 SBS opened up. |
