Another interesting thing about the Cs is that their original BU type controllers were replace by controllers removed from the steels when they were unitized in to B, BX and AX units. However, I seem to remember that the one time I rode them that they had a BU type controller so I wonder if maybe 1500 and 1501 retained the el type controllers and only the remaining Cs had the subway controllers. That could explain my fuzzy recollection. Is there anyone out there who has a little more knowledge of the Cs and can help out? |
