Amtrak will use some Adirondack cars to compensate for the NJT cars that they will not get. 2 sets VIA Rail HEP-I and HEP-II cars, including a Park Car, are covering 68/69 starting 11/20 for about a week and a half or two weeks.Amtrak is very skittish about a forced transfer of passengers at Albany wit their bags at Albany when it is so cold. VIA cars won't clear NY-area 3rd rail from what I have read. |
