Instead of classifying non for profit organizations as dumps, why not take a hundred mile trip out of your own pocket, spend an entire day and evening there and back for a night or two a month and see what it costs a member to donate his/her time for this cause. When you get better doing the work you can do it cheaper. When you are more productive, the joint don't look like a dump. When it don't look like a dump, you did a good job, one volunteer at a time. Museums need donations and volunteers, not armchair lawyers. Branford , Warehouse point and other museums had their chances with 6398. I have no regrets bringing it there whatsoever. If you have enough balls to come up and tell TMNY they are a dump, you might have some backbone to pick up a paintbrush |
