I sometimes wonder why NJDOT bought Pullman Standard single-levels for the E-L commuter trains out of Hoboken instead of gallery cars. The old DC wires weren't too low for them. (Woulda been great for the CNJ too if not for the high platforms at Elizabethport and Cranford.) |
