I should elaborate that during this time there was no midday M service. They did the 2 shuttle/single track thing north of Myrtle, and extended the J south of Broad St to cover for the M here. This usually coincided with the bustitution of the J line east of either Eastern Parkway or Crescent St. Since the pre-GOH R42's did not have proper signage for this route, it usually meant they were OOS during the day, which really sucked in summer. |
