Nope, no crossing gates there, just the overhead warning signals. The tracks cross at a very shallow angle, so the signals and the painted stop-lines are quite a ways from the tracks.I've lived here for 27 years. I don't remember any specific accidents at that crossing, although I wouldn't be surprised if there's been one or two. In a small town like this, a wreck at a crossing would be big news, on the front page of the weekly local newspaper. And that line probably carries a dozen trains or so trains per day.
