What is the difference between R-26/28s and R-27/30s other than size? AFAIK all the R-16s ended up in the tartar red along with some 27/30s and the IRT R-12s through 17s. Although the TA painted the R-10s in an R-36 paint scheme (later modified) it chose to paint the remainder of the non stainless fleet red until the MTA took over and opted for the silver and blue which unfortunately got graffiti covered rather quickly. |
