And the track configuration west of the station allowed for the M trains to sit and wait for the middle track to clear without blocking thru B trains. Used to piss people off seeing a B train that was behind the M go past the M while it waited for another train to leave 9th Ave headed north. Bay Parkway was not as well configured to turn trains. |
