Anyone have any suggestions for activities (railfan or otherwise) in Chicago? I'm considering checking out the railfan windows the South Shore has kindly installed, but I'm not sure how many there are or the odds of getting one.I've already extensively ridden the brown and purple lines, plus the red line to Howard, the blue to O'Hare and the Skokie. I'd be a little more inclined to try railfanning Metra, so if anyone knows which lines are most fun and/or most likely to offer accessible railfan windows, I'd appreciate it! :) |
