I've been on the #7 several times, and I've seen #3 strip maps on the interior of the R62a's going back and forth to Flushing. Also, the PA announcements are often garbled and unintelligible. Why is that? Is it employee indifference? Lax supervision?Perhaps at the time you were riding the train, you happened to be on a car that was recently transferred from the either the 3 line or the shuttle. Getting the cars on the road is more important than the strip maps inside the car. Of all my years of riding the 7 line, my most recent experience with unintelligible announcements involves a conductor who talks too fast. It's as if the guy was trying to be John Moschitta. |
