That's unfortunate. My wife and I had a positive experience with STM's employees. We visited Montreal in 7/2010 and we used STM's buses and subway quite a bit, and they were quite helpful. Often enough if someone spoke French to us, they immediately switch to English once they realized we spoke english. I'd visit again, but I definitely prefer Toronto and Vancouver to Montreal. |
