We have the world greatest subway,railroad,bus and ferry system..so we really dont need street/trolly cars. BUT...there are miles and miles of areasnot covered by rail traffic that COULD serve as potential street car/LRV corridors..if the MTA is willing to invest in it outside of the dumb BRT projects. I doubt,however,the MTA would be willing to..as the NORTH SHORE LRV was stupidly replaced by a "BUS/BRT" OPTION... |
