I lived in South San Francisco from 1989 to 1998, and was a fairly frequent commuter on Caltrain between SSF and the City, as well as an occasional user from SSF south. Obviously there have been a number of station improvements and grade separation and passing siding installations since those years.My condo in SSF was right under that "South San Francisco the Industrial City" hillisde sign, which was regularly painted in Stanford red shortly before each year's Stanford-Berkeley "Big Game."
