Interesting.I hope when the TA or politicians get serious about restoring passenger rail on the line (Like a light rail service) the residents in those buildings won't use that as a excuse to get all NIMBY as if such a service was proposed. Then again LRV aren't as heavy as a diesel locomotive so they shouldn't be a issue. Service would probaly run every 10 minutes if they make the terminal on the waterfront to connect with a ferry service to Mantthan. Or they just have the terminal at 5th Ave or something and all these issues would be moot. |
