Electrified freight is a thing of the pastOnly here, and primarily thanks to Conrail in the northeast, and Washington DC in general (guess who influenced MILW's ill-advised conversion from electric to diesel). But if you're going to go under the rivers, it'll have to come back. Plenty of electrified freight overseas. |
