Why is it so important to have free movement through the whole train, given that almost no other class of cars allows this?For most car classes, you can move freely only through the first or last five cars. And on the R68s, even if the car end doors were automatically unlocked in the event of an emergency, one wouldn't be able to get between more than two cars before running into a cab door. |
