Unfortunately for the couple who were dancing on the subway platform, the 59th Street Columbus Circle station is home to NYPD Transit District #1 & the Borough Command HQ.Hence why the back up arrived quickly in in force when the 10-85 call went out. And yes, cops will lock up just about anyone if they get pissed off during a stop. Unfortunately the job makes many of them, NYPD uniformed personnel, cynical. They get it from the top, and from the bottom... |
